Life
Been there done that, especially in the Navy. After graduation I went to work at Daniels Chapel, went to Dallas, TX for mortuary college. Returned to Daniels for a year and moved to Tillamook. Married Ruth Bristow and had a beautiful daughter, Cassidy who is going to college at U of Montana. Got divorced, married Carlin Ditto and did not have any children (thank God), got divorced again. Decided that was it for marriage, me and the Harley would be very happy together, except I met and married Kiera Melville in 1997. I adopted her boys in 1998 and we are all living in Viginia Beach, VA for the time being. I am retired from the Navy and Kiera retires in March ...Expand for more
and when our oldest son graduates in 2008 we plan to head north where there is some snow and maybe mountains. Theat will give us opportunities to get the Harleys out on some country roads. That is the very short version.
Military
I joined in '84 looking to do 4 years and return to Oregon with lots of experience. That was almost 20 years ago and I am staying for 23, my wife retires then. It has been great, I highly recommend the military(preferably the Navy or Marine Corps) for at least one tour and especially for a young person fresh out of high school who does not know what they want to do. If nothing else, go see other parts of the world on Uncle Sam's money.
